IS 349 will be hosting our first 6th Grade Virtual Parent and Student Orientation on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 1 PM via Zoom. Parents please ensure that you have access to the Zoom app on your phone, laptop or computer.
The focus of this orientation is to begin establishing a relationship between staff our incoming students and their families. Receive information on student expectations, programs, after school programs, student and family support services, parental involvement and resources, uniform policy, have you fill out some important school forms as well as other topics of great interest for our parents and students.
We look forward to having you as part of our I.S. 349 family and look forward to working closely with you to ensure that your child receives the best education possible in a caring, positive and welcoming environment. Remember parental involvement is a vital part of your child’s academic and social progress, as parent’s become more active in their child’s school the more success their child will achieve.
