Social Worker

Interborough has teamed up with IS349 to provide students with mental health therapy! Often times students might be struggling with personal issues that may also affect their grades. Some examples are depression, anxiety, family issues self esteem or image issues to name a few. students/ families that request the service meet with licensed social worker Mr. Baez at least one period a week for sessions where they will work on goals related to their mental health. By having Interborough therapy services at the school, it provides an ease of access without having to leave the school and can easily be adapted to students school schedule. Psychiatric services can also be provided through Interborough upon parents request.
